DAY 1: TRANSFER TO SAO LUIS

Arrival in São Luís do Maranhão. Meet with the driver at the airport, transfer, and accommodation in a Master Room at Pousada Portas de Amazônia. The lodge is located in the historic centre (Reviver), a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its exquisite Portuguese colonial architectural complex.

DAY 2-3: THE ENCHANTED LANDSCAPES OF LENÇÓIS MARANHENSES

Group road transfer to Barreirinhas, followed by a boat trip along the Rio Preguiças. Navigate through lush mangrove forests and the dunes of the “Small Lençóis” until reaching Atins, a charming village with sandy streets nestled between the Leçóis Maranhenses National Park and a stunning beach. Accommodation in a room with a balcony at Pousada Paraiso dos Ventos. Free days to organise private or group excursions into the Leçóis Maranhenses Park via the lodge. Experience breathtaking sunsets over the dunes and the beautiful Atins beach.

DAY 4: THE PARNAIBA DELTA AND THE FLIGHT OF THE GUARÁ

Boat transfer to Caburé (20 min). Meet with the driver for a combined off-road and road transfer to Tutóia (2 hours). Board a motorised speedboat for a river navigation of the entire Parnaiba Denta (2 hours), observing magnificent natural landscapes and the traditional boats and canoes of native fishermen. Arrival at Ilha do Caju to witness a true spectacle of nature: the sunset return of thousands of Scarlet Ibis (Guarás) to the mangrove forests. Arrival in Parnaiba and accommodation in an “Ilha” room at Pousada Vila Parnaiba.

DAY 5-6: EXPERIENCING JERI

Road transfer to Camocin, where the off-road journey begins along the beaches of the Ceará state coastline, passing through the dunes of Tatajuba. Arrival in Jericoacoara and accommodation at the welcoming Pousada Villa Beija Flor. Free days with the possibility of renting a buggy at the reception to explore Jericoacoara National Park, including the famous Paraiso and Azul lagoons, Pedra Furada beach, the village of Mangue Seco, and the enchanting Sanset Dune (Duna do Pôr do Sol).

DAY 7-8: FLECHEIRA AND GUAJIRU – OFF-THE-BEATEN_PATH BEACHES

Road transfer to Icarai de Amontada (2 hours). The journey continues off-road along the coast, passing the beautiful beaches of Baleia and Mundaú, arriving at Flecheiras. Accommodation in a Premium Room at the Rede Beach Hotel. Free days with the option to book excursions through the hotel reception to discover the stunning surrounding coastline.

DAY 9: FORTALEZA - NEXT DESTINATION

Road transfer to Fortaleza Airport for your return flight to Italy.
