DAY 1: WELCOME TO RIO DE JANEIRO

Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Meet and greet at the airport with your guide, followed by a private transfer and check-in at Hotel Selina Copa in a Standard Ocean View double room (Check-in from 3:00 PM).

DAY 2: RIO - CIDADE MARAVILHOSA

A guided visit to the first metropolis recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its cultural landscape – a masterpiece blending nature and human architecture. Highlights include the iconic Christ the Redeemer, surrounded by the Tijuca Forest, and Sugarloaf Mountain (Pão de Açúcar), offering a stunning view of Guanabara Bay (Entrance fees not included).

DAY 3: EXPERIENCING RIO DE JANEIRO

Day at leisure with our recommendations on how to experience the “Marvellous City.” In the evening, we suggest visiting the elegant neighbourhoods of Ipanema and Leblon with their characteristic local bars known as butecos. For live music, head to Lapa; the Carioca da Gema and Rio Scenarium are not to be missed.

DAY 4-5: PARATY – THE GOLDEN PORT

Road transfer to the historic colonial town of Paraty. An important seat of Freemasonry, Paraty reached its economic peak in the 18th and 19th centuries when its port served as the main departure point for gold from the mines of Minas Gerais bound for Europe. Accommodation at Pousada do Sandi (Luxury Room). Days at leisure to explore the town – a UNESCO World Heritage national monument – and Ilha Grande Bay with its pristine beaches and islets.

DAY 6-8: ILHA GRANDE

Private transfer to Angra dos Reis (3 hours) followed by a public flex-boat transfer to reach Ilha Grande. Part of the archipelago of the same name, the island is a true natural paradise featuring tropical rainforest and numerous beaches, most of which are wild and accessible only by foot or boat. Upon arrival at Abrão beachy, enjoy a short walk to your accommodation. Check-in at Pousada Naturalia (Ocean View Room). Days at leisure to explore the island and Ilha Grande Bay.
