| Foz do Iguaçu |
Foz do Iguaçu lies on the border with Argentina and Paraguay in the state of Paraná. Iguaçu Falls Park (Parque das Cataratas) is considered one of the 12 natural wonders of the planet.
With 275 distinct waterfalls, it forms the largest waterfall system on Earth. Both the Brazilian and Argentine sides can be explored via walkways that offer stunning frontal and overhead views of the falls, leading to the main attraction: the Garganta do Diabo (Devil’s Throat), which spans 150 metres in length and drops 80 metres in height.
The park offers a variety of other ecotourism activities, while in the city, visitors can explore the Parque das Aves (Bird Park). This sanctuary allows the observation of diverse bird species from all over the world, many of which were rescued from illegal wildlife trafficking.
