Costa Dos Corais Experience

DAY 1: PRAIA DOS CARNEIROS AND ILHA DE SANTO ALEIXO

Arrival in Recife, airport reception, and road transfer to Praia dos Carneiros (2h). Accommodation at Pousada Bangalôs Gameleiro. Free day. In the evening, we recommend dining at the nearby Beijupira restaurant.

DAY 2: PRAIA DOS CARNEIROS

Free day with the possibility of organising a motorboat excursion to the paradisiacal Ilha de Santo Aleixo (40 min). The island is an ancient volcanic crater containing a small wild beach nestled in vegetation. In the evening, you can take a taxi to Tamandaré (10 km) and dine at the regional cuisine restaurant Tapeira dos Sabores.

DAY 3-4: PRAIA DE JAPARATINGA

Departure for the Alagoas coast, following the Costa dos Corais coral reef. Arrival in Japaratinga and accommodation in a standard room at the cosy Pousada Estalagem Caiuia. The guesthouse has direct access to an isolated stretch of beach. The guesthouse restaurant is excellent. Free days to relax at the guesthouse or to discover the beautiful coastal beaches and organise excursions to the natural pools that form among the coral reefs along the coast during low tide.

DAY 5: SAO MIGUEL DOS MILAGRES

Transfer to São Miguel dos Milagres, located on the stretch of coast with the most beautiful beaches of the Costa dos Corais, and accommodation at Pousada Casa Rota Ecológica.

DAY 6-7: SAO MIGUEL DOS MILAGRES

Free days to enjoy the beautiful coastal beaches and organise tours in a Jangada (native fishing boat) to the natural pools. In Porto de Pedras, you can visit the manatee protection project, Peixe Boi.
Recommended restaurants: Porto dos Milagres, No Quintal, and Patricia Bistro.

DAY 8: MACEIÓ / NEXT DESTINATION

Transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight.
